NGA ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE LIABILITY INSURANCE PROGRAM
As its endorsed underwriter for executive liability insurance, Monitor offers NGA members both Employment Practices Liability Insurance and Management Liability Insurance. Uniquely structured to address the specific needs of the glass industry, the member-exclusive executive liability insurance program offers competitive premiums for member companies, pre-negotiated coverage terms, loss prevention services (including unlimited access to an employment practices hotline) and a no-claims policy renewal credit. “We welcome Monitor to our expanding line-up of world-class service providers, and we’re excited about the quality insurance products they will be making available to our member companies nationwide,” said Phil James, NGA President and CEO. “Our members have told us that finding affordable, quality insurance coverage is one of their greatest challenges. Business liability insurance, in particular, has been a big concern, and we are very pleased to address that concern with a blue-chip company like Monitor.” “Managing risk is a very important part of any business,” said Douglas J. Powers, CEO and President, Monitor Liability Managers, Inc. “This is a positive step by the NGA to help its member companies manage their business and protect their assets from the unexpected. It is a privilege to be associated with the NGA and we are excited to be part of the program.” David W. Walker, vice president of association services for the NGA, heralded the new program as the first important step toward offering a full line of insurance products. “After an exhaustive analysis of the insurance market, I am delighted that we were able to negotiate a comprehensive agreement with Monitor and to roll out the business liability insurance line of coverage first. I believe our members will be very pleased with the flexible nature of the program and the many levels of tailored coverage Monitor is making available.” Details about the new insurance program will be mailed to all NGA members by the end of February.
