NATIONAL GLASS ASSOCIATION WELCOMES CHAPTER ADMINISTRATORS
WASHINGTON,
DC, June 23, 2005The National Glass Association (NGA) welcomed
administrators from six of its affiliated state chapters to its offices
on June 16, 2005 for the first-ever Chapter Administrator's Day. In
attendance were Betty Farthing, North Carolina Glass Association; Paul
Hanscom, Minnesota Glass Association; R. Bruce Kershner, Southeast Glass
Association; Virginia Lee, Texas Glass Association; Cindy Schnetzler,
Michigan Glass Association; and Ryan Schulze, Wisconsin Glass Association.
Chapter Administrator's Day was created to allow chapter administrators
to meet NGA staff, and each other, for a day of networking and exchanging
ideas. After a welcome introduction from NGA's President & CEO, Philip
J. James, the chapter administrators met with each of NGA's department
heads to get a better understanding of NGA's programs, products and
services and for NGA to get a better understanding of the chapters'
needs.
