GLASS MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES LARGEST ISSUE IN PUBLICATION'S HISTORY WASHINGTON, DC, August 13, 2008—Just one month after launching a newly formatted version of Glass Magazine®, the National Glass Association is pleased to announce that the September issue will be the largest non-directory issue ever. With a new all-in-one format, Glass Magazine now features relevant news and information for commercial, retail and auto glass industry segments. Each industry segment has its own specific section of editorial coverage, along with broader-focused articles on best business practices, personnel issues and profit margins. The new magazine is distributed to the largest circulationmore than 50,000 (1)of any magazine serving the glass industry. “We believe the industry was ready for an all-in-one publication,” said Nicole Harris, Publisher and NGA’s VP of Publications. “The size of our second issue underscores that glass professionals are looking for one source of information to get quick and relevant information to help them grow their businesses. We were able to put this issue together with overwhelming support from our advertisers from whom we’ve received very positive feedback, along with our loyal subscribers. An issue of this size that features original editorial content is unlike our Sourcebook issue—which averages 200+ pages, but is made up of directory listings—and it takes a lot of staff hours to pull it off. It is worth it though to know that it’s being so well-received from the industry.” Please tell us what you think of the new magazine and also the new GlassMagazine.com Web site that was launched in July. You can email or call Nicole Harris, Publisher, nharris@glass.org; 866/342-5642, ext. 172 or anyone else on staff at NGA. —end— About NGA (1) Publishers projections for July 2008 as of July 2008.
