Over the last 50+ years, Glass + Metal Craft has institutionalized a process that mitigates the glazier’s risk and cost by taking on complex architectural systems, proactively identifying and managing problems, and ultimately delivering the project time and cost-effectively. G+MC has integrated design, engineering, and glass and metal fabrication within one U.S. facility. All projects are supervised by a dedicated management team that follows a project from concept to installation, and are delivered by a logistic system that kits all components to speed installation.

Claims are expensive and reduce supplier´s image. Depending on the reject causes it is highly necessary to implement an objective quality improvement system. Starting in cutting to avoid that defected glass goes down the value chain, during the process to allow a "best quality" approach of all single glass components or an effective final control to avoid surprises at the customer´s goods entry. All that will be objectively supported by different scanners in different places of the production.

What are the voluntary codes and standards in play? How is it showing up in municipalities, and in lawsuits? Learn more about where and why bird-friendly glazing matters now more than ever.

Four major industry trends are conspiring against glazing contractors and glass fabricators as they try to meet critical-path milestones for large and/or complex building projects. They are increased demand for glass in general (i.e. diminished availability); increased demand for customized glass configurations and designs; compressed delivery schedules; and more complex curtain wall/building envelope designs. This Take 5 presentation will cover all aspects of Vitro Glass' enhanced scheduling and delivery reliability program, including eligibility guidelines, success stories and other details on how it helps glazing contractors and glass fabricators achieve customer satisfaction and project success through on-time delivery of critical-path architectural glass products.
A global perspective on design trends.
