NOVUS TO EXTEND MYGLASSCLASS.COM AND NGACERTIFIED.COM TO ITS FRANCHISEES WORLDWIDE

WASHINGTON, DC  (March 7, 2008) – NOVUS, one of the largest glass dealer franchises in the world, announced today that it will offer online training through MyGlassClass.com and online auto glass certification through NGACertified.com to its more than 250 franchisees across the globe. The announcement was made at the company’s annual Super Session Conference in San Antonio, Texas, today.

MyGlassClass.com is a world-class online training platform designed by the National Glass Association (NGA) exclusively for glass technicians. NGA certification is the gold standard of technical excellence in the glass industry, and online testing has recently been made available via NGACertified.com.

Jay Bickford, NOVUS’ director of training, also noted that both online programs are ideal for a company like NOVUS, which operates in 42 countries. 

NOVUS franchise owners will have access to both auto- and flat-glass courses on MyGlassClass.com. This is an important benefit, as many of these franchises have begun diversifying and need to train or re-train their technicians in the new practices. The recent additions of classes on windshield repair and the basics of glass handling safety made the company’s decision even easier.
