NATIONAL GLASS ASSOCIATION WELCOMES CHAPTER ADMINISTRATORS

WASHINGTON, DC  (June 23, 2005) – The National Glass Association (NGA) welcomed administrators from six of its affiliated state chapters to its offices on June 16, 2005 for the first-ever Chapter Administrator's Day. In attendance were Betty Farthing, North Carolina Glass Association; Paul Hanscom, Minnesota Glass Association; R. Bruce Kershner, Southeast Glass Association; Virginia Lee, Texas Glass Association; Cindy Schnetzler, Michigan Glass Association; and Ryan Schulze, Wisconsin Glass Association.

Chapter Administrator's Day was created to allow chapter administrators to meet NGA staff, and each other, for a day of networking and exchanging ideas. After a welcome introduction from NGA's President & CEO, Philip J. James, the chapter administrators met with each of NGA's department heads to get a better understanding of NGA's programs, products and services and for NGA to get a better understanding of the chapters' needs.
