MYGLASSCLASS.COM IS ONE-OF-A-KIND E-LEARNING SYSTEM
WASHINGTON, DC (July 5, 2006) – The National Glass Association (NGA) has officially launched its much-anticipated state-of-the-art online training program, MyGlassClass.com, to provide comprehensive and convenient training and re-certification programs for the glass industry.
“MyGlassClass.com represents a major step forward in terms of the flexibility and accessibility of training programs, and it is a without a doubt one of our association’s most critical and groundbreaking programs. We are thrilled to be leading our industry into a new era in training,” said NGA President Phil James.
The online program offers over 60 courses specifically designed for both the flat and auto glass industries, ranging from safety instruction to re-certification. It was developed in partnership with leaders in the glass industry and will be continually updated and enhanced to reflect industry needs. More than 1,000 users are expected in the first year alone.
“One of the things that makes us most proud of MyGlassClass.com is the collaboration it has fostered within the glass community, and we will be relying on that collaboration and input as we move forward,” said David Walker, NGA Vice President for Association Services. “Also, this program provides tremendous flexibility and adaptability both for individual users and for shop managers, meaning both the courses and pricing options can be tailored to meet the needs of companies of all types and sizes.”
