NATIONAL GLASS ASSOCIATION ADDS REPAIR OF LAMINATED AUTOMOTIVE GLASS STANDARD TO MYGLASSCLASS.COM
WASHINGTON, DC (jULY 17, 2008) – The National Glass Association (NGA) is pleased to announce the addition of a new course on MyGlassClass.com. The course—ROLAGS®: Repair of Laminated Automotive Glass Standard—is based on the standard created by the NGA and the National Windshield Repair Association.
ROLAGS® represents the windshield repair industry’s statement of best practices by a committee of windshield repair system manufacturers, glass manufacturers, windshield repair and replacement retail practitioners, trade associations and other interested parties.
The new course covers the entire standard and includes background information and two informative annexes. This ROLAGS® course is the fourth Windshield Repair course to be added to MyGlassClass.com this year by the NGA’s National Windshield Repair Committee (NWRC) and is offered free on MyGlassClass.com. The course can be accessed by visiting www.MyGlassClass.com and clicking on “Welcome First Time Users”—the free ROLAGS course is listed under the sample courses.
“As a Committee, we have focused our 2008 priorities on windshield repair education, training and certification. I am very grateful to our committee members and Peg Stroka for all their hard work. By the end of the year, our NWRC will have all the windshield repair materials completely up to date,” said NWRC Chairman Jacqueline Newman.
