NGA ANNOUNCES NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

WASHINGTON, DC  (September 16, 2010) – The National Glass Association (NGA) is pleased to announce the election of Steven R. Burnett to the office of Chairman of the Board.

Burnett, of Walters & Wolf Curtain Wall of Mukilteo, WA, has been a supporter of the NGA for many years, having served on the board since 2005. Burnett took the office of Chairman on September 16, 2010 at GlassBuild America® in Las Vegas, NV. He will serve a one-year term.

New executive officers are Chairman-Elect, Chris Mammen of M3 Glass Technologies of Irving, TX, and Treasurer, Bill Evans of Evans Glass Company of Nashville, TN. Kevin McMahon of K-Man Glass Corp. Bethel, CT, will serve as immediate past chairman.

Leaving the board this year are:

  • Stephen Mort, Don’s Mobile Glass
  • Greg Pattakos, Advanced Auto Glass
  • Robert Trainor, Trainor Glass Company

New Members of the board are:

Board members returning for the 2010-2011 term are: Robert Brown of Brown’s Glass, York, PA; Bill Evans, Jr. of Evans Glass Co., Nashville, TN; Paul Heinauer of Glasspro, Mt. Pleasant, SC; Douglas Linderer of Go-Glass Corp., Salisbury, MD; Newton Little of ACE Glass Company, Inc., Little Rock AR; and John Morris of Jack Morris Auto Glass in Memphis, TN.
