The Utah Glass Association (UGA) hosted its 7th Annual Apprenticeship appreciation BBQ, which took place August 26 in Murray, UT. Rick Locke, NGA board chair, and Amy Hadfield, NGA director of apprenticeship, attended and celebrated alongside apprentices' families and friends.
The event was well-attended, with Nate Allen, UGA president, and Maren Fisher, UGA chapter administrator coordinating and leading the festivities, with Rick Locke providing welcome and congratulatory remarks to apprentices and all attendees.
The NGA representatives also attended pre- and post-event meetings with UGA member employers and apprentices to learn more about their businesses and their apprenticeship programs.
