NGA Glass & Glazing Advocacy Days 2026

NGA Champions Glass in Washington

NGA took to Capitol Hill, May 13-14, advocating for the glass and fenestration industry’s top priorities. Staff and 23 member company representatives joined forces to engage with congressional representatives in 42 small group meetings to advocate for policies around school security, bird-friendly glazing, workforce development and energy.

“Advocating for the glass industry in Washington, D.C. isn’t just about policy, it’s about ensuring that we as an industry have a voice in shaping our own future," says Lakisha A. Woods, CAE, NGA president and CEO. "When we meet with lawmakers, we’re not just representing an industry, we’re championing safer communities, more sustainable practices and long-term economic opportunity.”
