Updated and Consolidated GTP FB23-25 Approximate Weight of Architectural Flat and Laminated Glass
The tables in this GTP provide approximate weights of architectural flat glass by thickness designations as published by North American manufacturers as well as approximate weights of interlayer used in laminated architectural flat glass. The density of flat glass is assumed to be 156 lb/ft3 (2500 kg/m3). This GTP is a consolidation of FB23-09 (2019) Weight of Laminated Architectural Glass and FM01-08 (2020) Approximate Weight of Architectural Flat Glass, providing data to calculate weight for both flat glass and laminated glass.
