Small businesses are the backbone of the glass and fenestration industry — and the heart of NGA

During National Small Business Week, May 3-9, 2026, the U.S. Small Business Administration recognizes the hard work, ingenuity, and dedication of America’s small businesses, and celebrates their contributions to the economy.

In honor of this week, we're proud to celebrate the companies that make our industry strong. With 1,900+ member companies, 90% of which have annual revenues under $10 million, NGA is built by and for small and family-owned businesses.

What our members say:

Sam Olson, General Manager, J&A Glass

"I originally got involved with the NGA to deepen my understanding of glazing products and solutions. What I didn’t expect was how often I would end up offering insight from a different perspective that others seemed to find helpful. Some of the best learning happens through collaboration, and many times the person doing the teaching walks away having learned something too. That’s why I volunteer. I would have loved to have a centralized resource like the NGA and its many offerings when I was starting out. Although I had to learn many lessons the hard way, those experiences brought me to where I am now, and I’m grateful for the chance to support others as we all continue to grow in this industry."

Saul Greenspan, owner and president, Volunteer Glass & Design

"We believe staying up to-date with trends and the latest industry news is crucial to meeting our goals. Joining NGA provides us everything we can ask for as it relates to glass, whether it is macroeconomic trends or training for my glaziers."
