The NGA Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the National Glass Association, the leading trade association representing the $100 billion glass, window, and door industry in North America.
Since its founding, the Foundation has worked to build a stronger, more diverse, and more skilled workforce by connecting aspiring professionals with the education, training, and financial support they need to build lasting careers in the trades.
FHC’s $200,000 donation to the NGA Foundation will be directed toward the organization’s highest-priority workforce initiatives, including industry scholarships; workforce pipeline programs, such as outreach to high school students and underrepresented communities; apprenticeship and trades training; career development resources; and industry awareness and advocacy efforts to elevate the perception of the skilled trades. In a field where the demand for skilled glaziers, fabricators, and installers continues to outpace supply, investments of this magnitude play a critical role in ensuring the industry’s long-term health.
